This is a visualization of the people whose faces are in the
Epstein Library dataset. The circles (nodes) are
people, and the lines (edges) between them are when two people are in the same photograph
together.
A node's size is related to the number of photos they appear in, and nodes are colored based on
the person's category.
- Hovering over a node or edge shows you information about that person or the connection between the two people
- Clicking on a node or edge opens a sidebar with more information about that person or people, including a photograph
- Double-clicking on a node or edge opens up a new tab showing all photos containing that person or people
Data was taken from
DDoSecrets, facial recognition used
AWS Rekognition
and manual verification, and the network was laid out using
Gephi
and visualized using
D3.js.
The scripts for the pipeline and this visualization are available on
GitHub.
